The composition of the drug Omega-3, GOLD OCEAN is as follows: omega-3 fish oil 1000 mg. (eicosapentaenoic acid EPA-185 mg., docosahexaenoic acid DHA-130 mg., gelatin and glycerin (capsule shell). Each of these components has its own role in the drug. Here is a brief description of each of them:
- Omega-3 fish oil is the main active component of the drug, which contains two important omega-3 fatty acids: eicosapentaenoic (EPA) and docosahexaenoic (DHA). These acids are part of cell membranes, hormones, neurotransmitters, receptors, enzymes, genes and other biologically active substances. They are involved in the regulation of various physiological processes, such as inflammatory, immune, antioxidant, anticoagulant, antiarrhythmic, antidepressant, antiangiogenic, antiapoptotic, antihypertensive, antiatherogenic, antidiabetic, antiobesity, anticancer and others. They also affect the structure and function of the brain, heart, blood vessels, nerves, skin, eyes, liver, kidneys, bones, joints, muscles, reproductive system and other organs and tissues.
- Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) is an omega-3 fatty acid that has 20 carbon atoms and 5 double bonds. It is a precursor to a number of prostaglandins, leukotrienes, thromboxanes, lipoxins, resolvins, protectins, and maresins, which are mediators of inflammatory, allergic, immune, hemostatic, vasodilator, bronchodilator, angiogenic, antifibrotic, antineoplastic, and other reactions. EPA also increases the synthesis and action of docosahexaenoic acid, another important omega-3 fatty acid.
- Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) is an omega-3 fatty acid that has 22 carbon atoms and 6 double bonds. It is the most abundant omega-3 fatty acid in the brain, where it constitutes about 40% of the fatty acids of neuronal phospholipids. It is also present in the retina of the eye, where it is a component of photoreceptors. DHA is a precursor to a number of neuroprotectins, neuroresolvins, neuromaresins, docosanoides, endocannabinoids, which are mediators of neurogenesis, neuroprotection, neurotransmission, neuroplasticity, neuroimmunomodulation, neuroinflammation, neuroanalgesia, neuroantidepression, neuroantioxidation, and other neurobiological processes. DHA also affects the structure and function of the heart, blood vessels, nerves, skin, eyes, liver, kidneys, bones, joints, muscles, the reproductive system, and other organs and tissues.
- Gelatin and glycerin are components of the capsule shell, which protects the contents from destruction and promotes better absorption of the drug. Gelatin is a protein made from collagen, which is the main structural component of cartilage, bones, joints, skin, hair, nails. Gelatin has a positive effect on the health of these tissues, increases their strength, elasticity, flexibility, moisture, nutrition. RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE
It is not recommended for use in cases of impaired performance due to physical exertion, frequent colds and ARVI, maintenance of normal functioning and condition of joints, chronic fatigue syndrome or long-term depression, reduced visual acuity and rapid eye fatigue, prevention of vascular disorders, cholesterol levels and normalization of blood pressure. In order to promote optimal functioning of the brain and central nervous system, improve well-being and condition of nails, skin and hair.
RECOMMENDED DOSES
Take 1 capsule twice a day 30 minutes before meals for 1 month. If necessary, the course can be repeated.
